We designed the Executive Accelerator to present the knowledge, skills, habits of mind, and tools required to lead teams, projects, and organizations. We're looking for ambitious leaders who want to impact not only their companies but their communities, as well.
This extended development program prepares participants for that level of leadership and service. Over five months, each cohort interacts with subject-matter-experts, business faculty, and each other to explore topics related to organizational leadership and governance.
The Executive Accelerator has been created in partnership with top-notch faculty and subject matter experts from our programmatic partner, the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. This ensures participants work with a diverse array of experts whose voices are respected within their fields.
Companies, consumers, and communities lose when diverse voices are not included at the decision-making and governance levels, and the Executive Accelerator, by Prospanica, seeks to change that.
This program is exclusively for professionals with 7+ years of professional experience. Spots are limited, and an application is required.
The program is designed by faculty and experts and offers nearly 40 hours of core curriculum. The discussions and interactive content will explore concepts such as:
This program engages participants through both in-person and virtual learning. It will take place in three phases over five months, from June to November of 2022, launching in Denver and concluding in New Orleans. The in-person retreats will build the community, and the virtual experiences are designed to be highly interactive to continue that connection.
Phase 2: Integrated Learning Sessions
Phase 3: Retreat & Graduation at the 2022 Prospanica Conference & Career Expo in New Orleans

WHY IT MATTERS
Human resources consulting company Mercer revealed in a report that Latinos are "underrepresented at every career level above the support staff level when compared to their representation in the general population."
In the Fortune 500, only 4.1% of board seats are held by Latinos, according to the Missing Pieces Report: The 2020 Board Diversity Census of Women and Minorities on Fortune 500 Boards, by the Alliance for Board Diversity, in partnership with Deloitte.
This holds true for nonprofit boards, as well, with only 5% of those seats held by Latinos, as shown in the report Leading with Intent: Reviewing the State of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on Nonprofit Boards by BoardSource.
By creating the Executive Accelerator, Prospanica seeks to build leadership capacity, creating a cohort of talented and passionate professionals backed by a university credential that shows their readiness to expand their influence. Their impacts will be seen within corporate America and the organizations that serve our diverse communities.
