When you join Prospanica as a student member your annual investment provides a wide range of empowering resources, educational tools and scholarship eligibility. Student members can collaborate with our student-run University Chapter network or start their own chapter on campus and develop or enhance important skills, including: leadership, time management, project management, communications, organization, planning and budgeting.

Prospanica Foundation’s Scholarships are designed for undergraduate and graduate students who want to achieve their full educational potential and make meaningful contributions to society. We’re looking for entrepreneurial thinkers who know that true accomplishment is much more than individual success, it uplifts the entire Hispanic community.

Our community needs the next generation of change agents who are ready to chart a bold, new future. That’s why our scholarships target students who see the big picture and are eager to share their influence across the Hispanic community. Is this you? If so, you owe it to yourself and our community to join Prospanica and apply for a scholarship today!

We have a select number of Prospanica Foundation scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $5,000. Applicants to the Prospanica Scholarship Program must click for the previous year's FAQs.  The 2020 Program will feature changes:

  • be a United States citizen, legal permanent resident, or DACA recipient.
  • be of Hispanic/Latino heritage.
  • have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) OR have a minimum 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) in combination with two years of full-time work experience.
  • have a Prospanica membership - Member ID required. *Offering 50% discount on student membership during preliminary round, 2021SCHOLAR.
  • be enrolled or planning to enroll in a postgraduate (Master’s or PhD) or undergraduate program in an accredited university business school (in the United States or Puerto Rico).  If applying for the undergraduate awards, the applicant must currently be a sophomore or higher.

The 2021 Scholarship Program will run in two rounds.

The preliminary round will be opens from March 1, 2021.

• Application Open: March 1, 2021

• Application Deadline: April 14, 2021 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time Zone

Applicants invited to the second round will have until June 16th to complete the full application.

• Semi Finalist Open: June 1, 2021 (NEW Semi Finalist Round date)

• Semi Finalist Deadline: June 16, 2021

• Notification of Selection Results: June 29, 2021

• Funds Disbursed: August 2021

University Partnership Program

Reach Your Next Level

Our University Partnership Program (UPP) consists of nearly 30 colleges and universities throughout the country that Prospanica has teamed up with, to help qualified Hispanic students achieve their higher education goals.

Explore your possibilities with any of our UPP colleges and universities and apply for financial assistance when earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

The application process varies by MBA program and the assistance types awarded by our UPP colleges and universities are:

  • Scholarships
  • Fellowships
  • Assistanships

Minimum Student Application Requirements are:

  • Be admitted in the university's business program
  • Be a Prospanica member
  • Have a 3.0 minimum grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) from either a bachelor or graduate degree
  • Be of Hispanic heritage

Our University Partnership Program has provided financial assistance to Hispanic students since 2004, and has awarded more than $7 million since the inception of the program.
